Geography:
Pench National Park Sprawls over a massive area of 758 sq km in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. Being in the lower southeast region of the Satpuda Mountain, the park is blessed with a scenery location. The park (Pench Tiger Reserve) is named after Pench river which winds through the park from north to south
Entry Gates:
The 5 safari gates on Madhya Pradesh sides are Touria, Karmajhari, Jhamtara, Rukhad & Night Safari Gate.
Maharashtra side of Pench also has a few gates, with Sillari and Khursapar being well-known with tourists. Other Gates are Saleghat, Kolitmara, Chorbahuli and Surewani.
Best time to visit:
The peak season to witness the beauty of Pench Tiger Reserve is between November to May.
As with the arrival of July, the warm climate of this place starts taking a back step and heavy rainfall starts and for this reason, the park gets closed during monsoon till September Month.
