Day 1: Arrival – Into the Frame
Your journey begins at Jabalpur, where you'll be welcomed by our team and driven through the rustic heart of Madhya Pradesh. This landscape itself offers plenty of photographic teasers — scattered villages, arid fields, and shifting light on distant hills. It’s the kind of drive where even your pitstops can produce stunning roadside frames.
Upon arrival at your wilderness lodge near Panna, you’ll check in and unwind over a fresh lunch. The afternoon is yours to relax, reset your gear, or explore the natural surroundings.
In the evening, we gather for an introductory session tailored to photographers:
Overview of Panna’s photographic landscape (terrain, lighting, wildlife)
Safari briefing with a focus on shooting strategy
Equipment prep and Q&A with on-ground experts
We end the day with a peaceful dinner at the lodge, followed by rest — the next three days will be intense, exciting, and visually rewarding.
Day 2: Golden Hours & Moving Shadows
The wild awaits — and so does the light.
We begin the day before sunrise, with a warm cup of tea and cameras ready. Panna’s morning light is cinematic — cliffs catch golden edges, and mist drapes the riverbed. You'll head into the park for your first morning safari, guided by naturalists trained to position vehicles with photography in mind.
Packed breakfast will be enjoyed during a mid-safari break
Primary focus: predator movement, raptor flight, early light compositions
After returning to the resort by late morning, there’s time to review your images, catch a nap, or fine-tune camera settings. After lunch, you’ll head back out for your second safari, now bathed in the dramatic light of late afternoon — perfect for silhouettes, backlit portraits, and motion shots.
Evening back at the lodge includes:
Hi-tea and time to freshen up
A photo review session to discuss day’s sightings, frames, and techniques
Dinner and overnight stay, cameras charged for another early start
Day 3: Capturing the Wild’s Rhythm
By now, you're tuned into the forest’s pulse — where to look, how the light behaves, and which zones hold potential. Today includes your third and fourth safaris, doubling your chances for rare sightings and frame-worthy behavior.
Morning safari:
Emphasis on natural behavior, tracking, and clean framing
Focus on patience, pre-visualization, and multiple compositions
Return for lunch and mid-day rest
Afternoon safari:
Last field opportunity — chase that one elusive shot
Tigers, sloth bears, jackals, and vultures often active this time
After your final drive, we gather for a wrap-up session:
Review your best shots
Get feedback and editing tips
Share stories and laughter with fellow photographers
The day concludes with a celebratory dinner under the stars, marking the end of an experience where photography met the soul of the wild.
Day 4: Slow Morning & Departure
On your final morning, there are no alarms. Instead, enjoy a slow breakfast, pack up your gear, and soak in the last sounds of the forest. It’s a quiet farewell — to a place that offered not just sightings, but stories.
