Geography:

Karhandla Jungle is the new trend among nature lovers after the few prominent wildlife destinations like Jim Corbett National Park, Ranthambore National Park, Kanha National Park and Bandhavgarh National Park.
It is finite roughly by the Wainganga watercourse and also the Gose Khurd Dam on the northeast.
it’s set 40 km north of Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve and 50 km southwest of Nagzira wildlife Sanctuary & 60 km from Nagpur, Maharashtra. Pench Tiger Reserve is eighty km to the northwest

There are total 3 entry gates to Karhandla National Park such as karhandla gate, Pauni gate & Gothangaon gate

Best time to visit:

Although one can visit any time of the year that suits them, except for the monsoon season when the sanctuary is closed to visitors. The best time to visit Umred Karhandla Sanctuary is from March to June.
